No Single Use Plastic
Nowadays, single-use plastic has become a part of our lifestyle. Plastic bags, straws, coffee stirrers, soda and water bottles and most food packaging are single use plastic. Single-use plastic items make our life convenient, they are used only once before they are thrown away or recycled. I always thought plastic problems had nothing to do with me as long as I put in the recycling until I learned that most of our plastic ends up in landfills, our oceans and waterways and the environment.
The goal of this project is for food consumers to reduce single plastic use including plastic trash produced by take-out eating habits, and food delivery and encourage people to make their own solution regarding reducing plastic usage in an effort to make a healthy environment for both humans and animals by understanding the current plastic issue in the ocean.
